Epilogue Session 25

Overview

The party split up from Rivanon and went up river directly to Uzec while she stayed behind to wait for several score reinforcements she hoped to march over the Eastern Ridge pass. Renée, the daughter of Vorn’s friend Captain du Triel, joined the party under Emmeline’s tutorage. After fighting a tumultuous battle against a goblinoid raiding party, the party eventually made its way all the way to Uzec where the Baron had already departed for Calder Keep. The party split again the next day with Emmeline, Elemix, and Renée heading for Cerisey and Typhon staying to help her wife Jocelyn (seen as half-way through a pregnancy) with the refugees and the wounded coming in from the north.

Epilogue Session 24

Overview

The party took care of business in Camaret, including banking, reporting the Wizard’s Guild, fighting a fire, and in Elemix, Emmeline, and Rivanon’s cases have strange dreams at the Shepherd’s Wand. In a break ing the winter storms of 488, they made their way north to Derrienport via a brief stop at a snowed-inn lodge. Continue reading “Epilogue Session 24”

Renée and Lothiel

After getting set up at an inn within Derien, Emmeline next needed to find and speak with the elf mage, Lothiel. Having been directed to find her by Willow, a bounty hunter and likely also assassin, this was her best lead to finding Silverleaf’s clan. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to employ a redcap to find Wizard Lothiel and invite her to meet Emmeline at her inn. Continue reading “Renée and Lothiel”

Winter Plans

The party was transporting their newfound wealth by wagon to town. Was it Camaret or some other village? She wasn’t sure, but in the miserable cold it was hard to really care what the next town might be, so long as there was someplace with a warm hearth and a hot meal at the end of the road. The small group of five huddled atop the wagon. It was exposed to wind, but at least then no one had to trudge through snow.  Continue reading “Winter Plans”

Ricimer

John and Matilde, both of whom Emmeline regarded as friends, were long gone by the time the Wizard’s Guild quaestor, his guards, and entourage appeared. Ricimer was with them, so it was a safe assumption he’d brought them. It was likely that Elemix would go with them to Thalassa to make his report. She didn’t envy him that job, but judged he’d find some way to both put himself on fecal lists of the most powerful wizards there while escaping punishment for anything regarding the release of an Arch-sorcerer. At the Farm: Rivanon

Rivanon, erstwhile known as River sat down next to Elemix before the old farmer’s fire. Wrapping a fur around her she said, ‘why so glum my friend?”

Elemix looked at her and smiled as she sat down. “I am glad to hear you refer to me as such,” he replied. “I hope over these past many months you have come to know me. And to say that I am very happy no harm has come to you is some what of an understatement.” Continue reading “At the Farm: Rivanon”
