Recap – End of Session 5 & The Deal
This is a recap to add to the end of last session some details to account for Chris’ absence.
The battlesuit (Hedgehog), seeing it had delayed for long enough and being pummeled by NeoGenesis’ attacks suddenly began to burrow at lightning speed beneath the floor. Crusader, having held back to potentially deflect one of the suit’s missile swarms, spotted that the legs didn’t hold active cutting blades. Yelling, “Get the others, he leaped, barely catching hold of the villain’s foot and like him, disappeared below the surface.

Lightsabers
Just for fun, I thought I’d write up a list of lightsabers, their variants, and the different kinds of crystals you might find, as well as the book and page number you can find them.
- SECR = Saga Edition Core Rulebook
- KotOR CG = Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide
- FUCG = The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide
- TotG = Threats of the Galaxy
Lightsaber – SECR122
Double lightsaber – SECR123
Short lightsaber – SECR123
lightwhip – TotG
lightfoil – KotORCG65
guard shoto – FUCG96
lightsaber pike – FUCG199
All of these options can be available in this campaign. My thinking is that lightsaber design is a very individual thing for Jedi and Sith alike. Since each base weapon is usually highly customized, why not the overall form as well? The above types of lightsaber should cover most concepts so that rules for them can easily apply to your idea of a lightsaber weapon.
In addition, the lightsaber blades themselves can be modified, depending on the crystals used in the lightsaber. Such crystals are rare and highly sought after so unlike lightsaber design which may simply be chosen by the character and either built at 7th level, or in some cases provided by the character’s Jedi or Sith master. These crystals must be discovered via a quest in-game, or recovered from fallen enemies. All these crystals are described in KotORCG pages 66-67.
Bondar (stun damage)
Firkraam, luxum (ion damage)
Jenraux (bonus to blocking)
Opila (extra damage on a crit)
Phond (extra damage vs. shields)
Rubat, eralam, upari (do better damage once per encounter)
Sigil, daminia, nextor, sapith (extra damage on all damage rolls)
Solari (bonus to deflect)
One thing to consider when your character gains possession of one of the crystals above is that these crystals, when used, replace the normal +1 bonus a Jedi or Sith wielder gains for attuning to a normal lightsaber crystal.
In Search of etherium or Nap time for Proximus
Session 5
Crusader asked Lake to stop digging after a metallic scale was unearthed. He said the substrata looked like it was unstable. He said that maybe we could have the scale analyzed and that we should get out of here.
We needed to find the other area of seismic disturbance that occurred during the robot’s rampage, so we started at the geological survey office in the district of Hackensack.

Adventure Log: Session the Second
Played November 2, 2008
We’ve been traveling with a gypsy group of Cait Sidhe. These friendly, catlike folk have unfortunately been plagued with bandits. Unfortunately, some of this “plague” may have been brought by us. We don’t know why, but it seems like these bandits and raiders have been following us and have run into these Cait Sidhe. We tried to protect them and have killed many of these raiders, but attrition has been terrible. Now all that is left is a woman and twin children.
Now we’ve been forced to flee the road and take refuge in this cave in hopes of eluding the raiders. Unfortunately, we’ve lost track of the Cait Sidhe who’ve fled deep into the chambers. This place seems to be like buried fortress. Ghosts haunt the place and it’s infested with goblins, bats, and worse. I fear for the lives of those twins, especially. Quantum – Fifteen Years Later
Jihong Kim – Staff Reporter INN
Today is the fifteenth anniversary of the Battle of the Aurora RIft, when Quantum and elements of the Citadel, EarthForce Starfleet and the Auroran Militia took on Shard, a former hero and friend of Quantum, who drunk with power made a play to take over the Inner Sphere worlds. Many of the best and brightest of both fleets and many heroes died trying to stop him.
Quantum, who had taken the brunt of Shard’s attacks, within a year departed the Inner Sphere to deal with the Confederation incursions and brinkmanship of the time. The incursions stopped and since then Quantum has been spotted from time to time on dozens of outer sphere worlds, continuing his work for the wider galaxy.

Proxima Station Email to Dr. Knight
Dr. Knight-
Very important info for you David. As a quick summary, repair work is going well and we should be able to resume operations within two weeks. I’m writing this as an inquiry on when you plan on returning. We heard about the station incident and received a reply from EarthGov and the Auroran Consulate stating you are in good health but hadn’t heard on whether or when you were planning to return. Session 4 Lunch is served or almost meeting the Mayor
We were having lunch and I was showing everyone the letter we got from the telepath that was hurt on the Luna colony, when our meal was interrupted by Special Agent Ellison and his assistant, Maria Truwell. They arrived to tell us that Dreamslayer was moved to a location in Long Island and currently has the mind of a vegetable. They believe that there is still some consciousness buried inside his mind, but wanted to scan a mind that had been in contact with his mind before the Alien left to use as a template for contact. Crusader volunteered so Maria took Crusader into the other room and soon they came back out. Continue reading “Session 4 Lunch is served or almost meeting the Mayor”
