Proper Programming

Five Years Ago…

When the red-haired, green-eyed girl was first brought in she had insisted it was May of 1938. She had also thought she was still in Kansas. In time, that changed.

At first, Elizabeth’s story had been dismissed as creative imaginings of a young girl, something akin to making up an invisible friend. Yet there were disturbing qualities to her story that, from a psychological perspective, could not be healthy. Continue reading “Proper Programming”

The Marches

Below is a generalized map of the holdings of the Marcher Lords. Paths are shown, and color indicates woods or non-wooded routes and holdings. North is up, so you can see to the north and east is where Twilight would lie.

Each holding has the possibility of gaining aid from at least three other holdings should an attack occur. Paths that allow such assistance to arrive in a reasonably short time are marked. The Marches are the first line of defense against the forces of Twilight and all the people of the Khelekeska state depend on their ability to deter attack. Continue reading “The Marches”

In her words…

Alfred produced some new designs to modify our new armor to give a green tint because they were all quite distinctive and ornate.

There was a set of fans, made for martial use, that I swiped!

After selling and dividing the loot, I went and purchased some nice, stout chests for members of the adventuring company and met them at a tavern. The crown prince made an appearance! Barathor Wyrmslayer is his name (Wyrmslayer being the family name). Following him was His Majesty Duke Thandor Brightblade. I resolved to stay near the royals – for their safety of course. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to them that they didn’t want to have happen to them. Custom miniature ordered!

Fallcrest campaign.
Description: At 5’8″, with shoulder-length brown hair and dark, nearly black eyes, Kyrsh is not particularly memorable — which is just how he likes it. A lanky thief with quick hands and a soft step, he tends to find his way in and out of trouble like a shadow slipping across moonlit streets. Continue reading “Kyrsh”

Session 2014-1-3. In Raena’s words…

So here we are, elite fodder for battle. Joy… but at least I got these suped-up bracers that help me avoid some injury. Anyway, looks like we have a choke point. Narrow gap, a couple towers for the flanks and 300 seasoned soldiers.

Hm. This sounds somehow familiar. And I have a bad feeling about this. Continue reading “Notes by Raena’malarra of House Torduis”
