Wait, You Did What Now?

Your Highness the King of Galadron, Great Lord of the Surface Elves, Architect of the New Alliance of the Border Kingdoms and Future Father-in-Law,

I gives me both great pleasure and a little sadness to present you with this report, being the first of its kind and my final act as Ambassador of House Torduis to the Kingdom of Galadron. Continue reading “Wait, You Did What Now?”

In her words…

Alfred produced some new designs to modify our new armor to give a green tint because they were all quite distinctive and ornate.

There was a set of fans, made for martial use, that I swiped!

After selling and dividing the loot, I went and purchased some nice, stout chests for members of the adventuring company and met them at a tavern. We had fun, drinks, drugs, truth and dare, all with the king and his enforcer-slash-executioner. Wow! Good times. And I got to show Eidelwyn my fungeon later. In her words…

Tonight is the night of the traitor noble’s party.  On the way we were met by some wood elf named Aronor who offered his help to us. Apparently sent by the spirit of the forest? Ah, must be that unicorn, Moonchaser, that we saved. I’m unclear as to what we need help with, but whatever.

The crown prince made an appearance! Barathor Wyrmslayer is his name (Wyrmslayer being the family name). Following him was His Majesty Duke Thandor Brightblade. I resolved to stay near the royals – for their safety of course. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to them that they didn’t want to have happen to them. Session 2014-1-3. In Raena’s words…

So here we are, elite fodder for battle. Joy… but at least I got these suped-up bracers that help me avoid some injury. Anyway, looks like we have a choke point. Narrow gap, a couple towers for the flanks and 300 seasoned soldiers.

Hm. This sounds somehow familiar. And I have a bad feeling about this. Continue reading “Notes by Raena’malarra of House Torduis”

Session 2014-12-20. In Raena’s words…

After some rest we helped put this village together. There was in fact a defensive wall. So this frontier collection of hovels exposed to the blinding, unmerciful light of the glaring sun is actually habitable. For humans. I think they empty their chamberpots in the street. Humans smell bad. They even have these ditch things with bike spikes. Holy Gaeruilil! But they know how to prepare for a battle. I have a sinking feeling this fight will be more educational for me than I’d like. Continue reading “Notes by Raena’malarra of House Torduis”

Session 2014-12-6. In Raena’s own words…

After a day of celebration and loot dividing we took up the second mission to investigate farms. We found one at the end of a day of travel. (We went during the day. Why? Whyyyyy?)  We fought off some orcs and saved the family.

I noticed there some buildings on fire, including one with horses. Big deal, right? Yes it was! Don’t look at me like that. It was important because the cleric Meluiwen went to save the animals. I think Ciara almost died, but luckily a bit of magic saved her from the orc boss that had run her down. Anyway, like I said we fought them off. Session on 2014-11-22. In Raena’s words…

We got together to become an adventuring group and are attempting to build reputation by doing some useful things for the kingdom. Long term goal: we create our own kingdom.

In the woods we killed a bunch of kobolds and investigated a cave. There we released a unicorn, and Garrick took the shackles that kept it teleporting away. I wonder what he intends to do with them? Continue reading “Notes by Raena’malarra of House Torduis”
